Our Story
Allison and MIchael Pitzer formally founded Metro Investigations, LLC on February 6, 2004 in an effort to offer quality investigative services to their clients. Since that time, their client list has grown to include over one hundred of Louisville’s top law firms and countless individuals. The founders have tried to ensure every case is handled the same way as they would for a close friend or family member. That philosophy has been the driving force behind the company’s success.
Licensed & Insured
Before hiring someone to handle your case, you should ask yourself the following questions:
- Will they be around when the case goes to court?
- Are they licensed?
- Are they respected by the Courts?
When you retain us, the answer to all three questions will always be YES! Our business model has always been to provide excellent services for a reasonable price. We dont advertise and stay very busy through word of mouth. We believe its because our philosophy is working. Our word has always been good with the Court, in fact several of the sitting Judges were long term clients prior to be elected to the bench, so they are already familiar with how we operate.
Do Your Homework!
You might be surprised to discover that more than half of the private investigators advertising are not legal to practice. Hiring an unlicensed investigator can tank your case. Judges must exclude testimony of unlicensed investigators because Kentucky law criminalizes unlicensed practice. This means anything your investigator brought to court on your behalf is gone. Any investigator that agrees to unlimited work for a fixed price or low wages is likely to rip you off! Maintaining continuing education hours, paying insurance premiums and keeping up with state licensing requirements is not cheap. Protect yourself by hiring reputable investigators from the beginning.
